Cosmic Stash respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through cosmicstash.com, why we collect it, how it is used and the choices available to you.

Information we collect

When you submit a collection inquiry, we may collect the information you choose to provide, including:

• Your name, email address and phone number.
• Your city, state or other collection-location information.
• Descriptions of your collection and related messages.
• Photos and filenames you upload for evaluation.

Our website and service providers may also automatically receive limited technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, referring page, security signals and basic request logs.

When you visit through an advertisement or tagged link, we may collect campaign parameters in the URL, the page where your visit began, the referring website and basic visit-source information. This attribution information may be retained in your browser for up to 30 days so it can be connected with a later inquiry.

How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

How information is shared

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share information only as reasonably necessary with service providers that help operate the website, process form submissions, deliver messages, host content or prevent abuse. These currently include our website-hosting and security providers and Resend, which delivers inquiry notifications.

We may also disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect Cosmic Stash, our visitors or others from fraud, harm or unlawful activity.

Cookies and third-party services

The website and its service providers may use cookies or similar browser storage needed for hosting, security, CAPTCHA verification, form processing and first-party advertising attribution.

Cosmic Stash uses the Meta Pixel, provided by Meta Platforms, Inc., to measure website visits and the effectiveness of advertising on Facebook and Instagram. When the Pixel loads, Meta may receive information such as your browser or device information, IP address, referring page, pages visited and advertising identifiers. Meta handles this information according to its Privacy Policy. You may also manage advertising preferences through your Meta account and browser settings.

The website also retrieves recent public posts from the Cosmic Stash Facebook Page through Meta's Graph API. Post images may be delivered from Meta's servers, which can receive ordinary technical request information such as your IP address and browser details.

Inquiry information and photos are stored through our website-hosting provider. Notification emails are delivered by Resend. Spam protection is provided by Cloudflare Turnstile.

Retention and security

We retain inquiry information only as long as reasonably necessary to evaluate collections, communicate with you, maintain appropriate business records, prevent abuse and comply with legal obligations. We use reasonable safeguards, but no website, email system or online transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your choices

You may ask us to review, correct or delete personal information you submitted by emailing jason@cosmicstash.com. We may need to retain limited information when required by law, needed for legitimate business records or necessary to protect the website and its users.

Children's privacy

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the website or our practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will show when it was last revised.
