Cosmic Stash grew from a lifelong love of comics, toys, cards and the stories that stay with them.

It started in the ’80s
I started buying, selling and trading collectibles as a kid in the 1980s—and I never really stopped. I grew up surrounded by He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, M.A.S.K., Transformers, G.I. Joe, Hot Wheels, Micro Machines and just about anything else I could find.
Cards, comics & cosmic stories
I collected baseball cards during the Mark McGwire and Jose Canseco heyday. My dad introduced me to comic books when I was very young, and I fell in love with the work of Jack Kirby, Steve Ditko, John Buscema, Sal Buscema and so many other great Silver Age artists. Silver Surfer, Thor, Iron Man and the Hulk remain some of my favorite characters.
The name Cosmic Stash was inspired by the cosmic energy and imagination of those classic Silver Surfer stories from the late 1960s and early 1970s.
Always collecting something
Over the past forty-plus years, my collection has ebbed and flowed, but I have always been working on something—a particular set, character or era, from statues and busts to non-sports cards.
A collector first
That experience shapes how I work. I understand the history and personal meaning these objects can carry. When I come across an old comic, toy or lunch box, I know it once belonged to someone and brought them joy.
